Have you ever heard of an virtual world called Second Life?  It is so amazing!  It really is a world!  Or maybe I should say it’s a universe or galaxy.   Second Life is a very imaginative, creative world.   It is not a game.  Actually, there are all kinds of opportunities here – for learning, gaming and even training.  You could travel to almost any place in the real world, and also many imaginary ones!  When you sign up for Second Life, you choose an avatar, which is your “physical” being.  You can be a person, vampire, animal, or a robot, just to name a few!  And you can change your avatar any time you please!

You can go anywhere and do anything, including celebrate Christmas!  And not just in one place.  There are places to go, things to do, and even events, such as shopping and live concerts!  How about ice skating with your friends?

Or, maybe you have a hankering to visit Santa Claus at the North Pole?  You can even BE Santa, if you want!  LOL

And if you’re feeling silly, you can go on a sleigh ride that is pulled by ferrets!!!

There is just no limit to what you can see and do in Second Life!  It’s a wonderful thing for those of us that can’t get out and travel like we’d like to.  You can explore new worlds, role play, dance, play games, and make new friends from all over the world!  Come join me!
