When I first started accessing the internet, it was fairly new. There were lots of chat rooms, email, and some good info to research with, but it has grown so much since then. I definitely enjoyed meeting new people in the chat rooms (nothing can replace Big People on WBS!), but lately I have discovered the joys of meeting up with folks I already knew!!! Over the last few months, there seems to be an outpouring of people I knew in Elementary and High School (Gilmer don’t need no stinkin’ Middle School… LOL).
It has been such a blessing to get to know old friends again! I am hoping we will be able to have a get together soon! There have been other sites where I thought I’d see old school folks, but Facebook has really been the catalyst. And they just keep coming! I hope I have some pain free days, so I can catch up with my old friends! Not to mention new ones! LOL For someone like me, who doesn’t get out much, the internet and Facebook are things I really don’t want to live without. Cause even homebodies don’t want to be alone ALL the time. LOL

YEAH FOR US! Shannon you hit the nail on the head. I have found some of my childhood friends I thought I would never hear from again as lifes’ journey has spread us across the world. I am glad for facebook. Some day we all have to get together so my husband can meet the crazy fun kids I grew up with.
